You want to play Minecraft on this server? On this server there are two basic mods installed.
How can I join now already?
Follow these steps to get up and running.
Use the official Minecraft launcher or if you don’t want to buy Minecraft use Ultim MC it’s very good. (only limitation: not every server is joinable)
After installing utim mc create a new instance with Minecraft version 1.20.1!
This server uses mode. In order to join we need to install forge on the instance. A button on the right ribbon in ultimc can install forge with a click.

Download those form the webpage of curseforge.
The links to those are: Alex Mod, Citadel and Twilight Forest.
click on open mod folder on the right ribbon and drag the .jar files into it.
Finally you have to really join the server. In the multiplayer tab you put in the URL minecraft.lucacordes.com

System requirements
Using Docker on alpine with a 4 core r7 5825u we need 4% of the cpu once the server has started and settled. It uses 3.85GB of RAM. For playing I’d recommend a minimum of 4GB of RAM. Increasing the RAM to 6GB yields also the same CPU useage 4-5%. One player playing its 8%. Actually the default 1GB is having a good playable experience and no more RAM has to be used (1.4GB total LXC).
In the compose file the RAM and the administarator that can run cheats like gamemode creative playerx is set in the compose file.
The Vanilla minecraft server is super easy to host in comparison. It only requers some hundreds of megabytes of RAM and it can also automatically gut to power saver mode if there are no players. With 150ms ping lag is less noticable than expected.
